it is a sad day the ford plant is closing in st thomas.. this will effect delaware speedway,, they may have to think about slowing down the speeds so they wont wreck so bad.. maybe more weight..maybe a 5500 chip is the answer..Management will have to come up with answers this winter to keep all the series running strong..

My 2cents....Glad Tech caught someone being bad hope the penalty suits..That's all I will say on that
Built VS Create...their is only one way to make it fair I can think of:
Built becomes SPEC if said parts are not there see the rule where a Create Guy Gets The Boot for a YEAR
Create......Sealed or not who cares at that point ......If it is sealed I am sure tech is smart enough to catch an opened one if they look hard enough
if you choose to build yourself savings can be made on a spec build.....if ya want bran new no problem the part number ends with 602
Tires so easy to do .....track rep goes to walmart and sees what cost $75 bucks or even better gets a tire place as a track sponsor /supplier and a cheap tire cost $60 bones
so then everyone shaves them ??..hmm not so fast add a tread depth rule make it 1 or 2 32nds more than a safety for the street and now you can sell your used race car tires on Kijiji and re coop say $15 or 20 bucks a tire.....that would work out to say $45 to $50 a set back add 10 or 15 and there is a new tire paid for on your next set......now yes I realise because of staggar you may need 2 set of tires to start to get pairs for sale but it is possible and if no one wants to do the resale thing just make the tread depth rule same as a safety to eliminate the cost of shaving
if you don't shave them you'll need a new set every night, they chunk.
Yup and were all gunna stick to building $1500 dollar motors right? and we can live happily ever after. You have no idea what you are talking about
And where did I say that Jim? I said the option should be there, rather than forcing Crates.
