All I have to say is I hope they have more then 16 cars Or there might only be 2 cars at the end. What Bothers me is that every other short track around is running Saturday night. So how many cars will show up? My thought is a lot of guys will stay with there home track for points. Not going to Delaware and risk smashing there cars up. Car counts are bad everywhere. So how many will show. I hope it is not a big waist of money. Friday might be the show. Just my thought Don't Hate LoL
Well Flammy is racin sat night and Mercer won't be there. That's at least 5 cars that won't be there and I know if it was at the end of the year they all would be there.Oh I forgot and now I won't either,it's a shame.
I also wondered why they moved this to this weekend and on the Saturday. I can think of a couple that might be plausible but still wondering. Also why not Sunday? Being the first long weekend of the summer people will want to get outta town if the weather is anywhere half way decent. Is Steve Robblee going to jump in a car? Will DJ be there? Will JR have a ride or is he running Nationwide? Will Steve Matthews be running? Maybe Ron Sheridon will have to hop in a car? Maybe they think the money will draw extra cars? When I saw the schedule come out earlier this year I wondered about this. I was hoping that maybe they would move this to a weekend later in September then everyone would be available or most anyways. I'm sure the track has their reasons just don't know what they could be.
They moved it so the Whelen Mods could run Labour Day weekend.
yeah its nice that they moved the race to the beging of the year but no matter when you schedule a late model race for a Saturday or Friday it will always be a crap shot on a car count cause it will always be the regular drivers might be the odd car so be happy what we have but you know go SPRINT CARS
