Accept tonight was yet another invitational for points. That was complete horse shit. Forcing your regular guys into a field with cars that are prepared for nascar drivers to do well in, visiting drivers who drive like animals through heats and early stages of features and then you have your weekly guys trying to gain spots for points while the non points drivers run around like madmen.
Its a tough deal for everyone. And its especially not fair for the weekly teams. Thompson, hooker, the 51, 96, 100, 81 (the list goes on) all with damage the 6 with huge damage. All this because of visiting cars driving like donkeys. The 37 got dumped by a visiting driver. These guys are all running for points and trying to race one another respectively
Yet those who come in and race against them show little or no regard for the bigger picture. Management failure here for sure. Should not have been a points night.
I sure hope Mr. Bowyer didnt recieve any money for his cry baby antics.
2nd year in a row of NASCAR showdown disappointment. Kyle Busch doesnt complete 1 lap last year, and Bowyer becomes sour puss and wimps out.
People paid good money to get to the track to watch these guys, and yet they dont race. The way it sounds, Im glad I stayed home this year.
If I was the organizer last year, under the first caution, I would have been on the radio trying to find a driver willing to give up his ride for Kyle Busch.
As for this year, I hope Clint never wins another race in NASCAR period, you showed a complete lack of class towards Canada and its racing fans and racing communities. I hope your visits to Canada remain at just two.
Okay im done spewing.
From what I have read and heard on the news, sounded like guys were driving like horses with a carrot dangled in front of their noses, kinda wanted to go but the ticket prices were a bit steep, just to see guys wrecking their cars and leaving the track because some one bumped them, really hope Waltrip and Pastrana come back and maybe Dale Jr. or my favorite, Ryan Newman, those guys would put on a show and Jr would bring a ton more people than Busch or Bowyer
Accept tonight was yet another invitational for points.
Oh, crap, I didn't know that. Seems kinda stupid. :-
Kenny Wallace or Ken Shrader too!
I would go for Newman for sure!!
