With the number of guys who qualified in the 1's, this had potential to be a great race, and the first 17 laps didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, everyone started driving like idiots after that.

IMO, if you stop on the track to bring out a yellow, you're done, park it, get out of it, you shouldn't be allowed back on the track, unless you cannot drive it back to the pits. If you stop on the track for a flat tire, your done. If something is broke and you can't turn it and need to be towed to the pits, that's legitimate.

I don't know what to say about Bowyer. I just saw him drive up into the 22, not sure if he drove in to hot or got tagged or what. That was kind of a pissy move to just quit, but we don't know what was wrong with the car. After seeing the pile up 3 laps/45 minutes later, kinda looks like a smart move on his part, because he would have been directly in the middle of that.

Good to see guys getting black flagged for jumping the start/aggressive driving.

They should have started doubling up/taking the white on the same lap a lot earlier.

I couldn't believe when I found out about 20 laps in that it was a points event. I don't know what the idea there was, because they were going to get a good car count anyways. Terrible decision.

All in all, there were cars on the track and the beer was cold. It was better than anything else I would have done on a Wednesday night.

In bowyers defence his plane broke down on the runway and he got a rental as quickly as possible. I believe he retired because he was sick of the donkeys racing around him. Just a quote I heard from someone in the pits. The race was a disaster. Waltrip said it was Dega in Canada. Cars were flying into wrecks and the lack of regard for other racers went out the window on lap 7 it was the white flag every lap after that.

Was nice to see the bf make an appearance last night. Drivers who deserved it got it.

However I'm a little confused on what is deemed incident cars, as the 28 and 22 were on top of one another checking up the field and the 28 was damaged, however kept his spot.

So we have 2 lousy shows in a month, poor or missed calls , and the race director still has a job? maybe the officials should pay for the damaged cars?  we have seen this in enduro... but ???

I don't recall the race director driving the cars that are smashing into each other  :- As for the 28 and 22 the crash happened behind them, they kept going. Even if they caused the stackup they weren't the ones that crashed.

The only argument I see to this is that on a restart a breakcheck earns you a black flag because they want to avoid stacking the field up and causing incidents. Possible Debries off of either car could have taken someones tire down and caused that pile up.

However I see both sides. Both drivers continued racing and did not stop.
