I'm just wondering when they'll put in some real safety rules.
1) all divisions full containment seats
2) all divisions some sort of Head and Neck Restraint.
3) all divisions full face helmet
4) all divisions on board fire suppression systems
5) all divisions 1/8" door plates on drivers side

BTW, I think your suppose to braze the spider gears.

totally disagree about 1,2 and 3.

The reason is?

guess we agree to disagree......is say 2000 worth a funeral or serious injuries "if" something goes wrong, you buy insurance dont you? for "if" something should happen, how are these 3 things any different. thats like saying, i dont need to wear a firesuit/boots/gloves. again guess we agree to disagree.

Fullface should be mandatory
HANS should be mandatory
Gloves should be manadatory
Full containment seat nice to have
Door plates, absolutely
Onboard is better than extinquisher
Brazing spiders? umm they are not made of Cast iron so why?

the other side of the coin on going to those saftey measure  is/are.....

back to:
treaded  radials
manifolds not headers
4412 carbs
stock bumpers front and rear
trunk, floor and wheel well sheet meatal
no rear spoilers
etc. etc.

If its all about safety, then there's no argument, slowing the lower classes down will accomplish more than almost anything else.
Well we're at it, the same reasoning says, there's no argument ,  safer barriers around the track.

There's plenty of ways to move most these racecars into a comfort zone, safetly wise, that doesn't cost the racers a bundle.

Umm isn't that enduro racing?
