First I would like to congratulate Amanda on her win, very impressive.
Second I would like to mention Darrell Lakes run (mind you I'm a bit biased towards the team, being the crew chief and all). He ran an excellent race
and was very smooth. Battled for the podium, went to the back and then
went to the front again, finished on the lead lap. I would like to thank all of the people involved, the great help from Doer race team, the Robblee race teams for all there insight, most of all Brad Jakes for the spotting and the excellent coaching!

Agreed, thank you to both Steve and Jay for the help getting us out there and to all the other racers that ran us clean and smart. I love that kind of racing. I don't think our result showed how much we had left at the end of the race. I was so close to following Amanda up through to second at the end and possibly having a car to challenge for the win. Cards weren't dealt that way, but we are still very happy with the race. Big congrats to Amanda on the win, it's not an easy track to figure out.
