Well after rolling $192 of change I collected this year I've come to a few conclusions:
1, there was only enough quarters to make one roll...this means somebodies bin pilfiring my stach
2, I only found one silver dime out of 1000 of them
3, I found 1 King Edward penny out of 4250 pennies.
4, Money is extremely dirty...your mom was right don't put it in your mouth
5, A Barbados penny is the same size as ours and the US penny
6, Speaking of US pennies out all of those pennies at least 30% were US... boy are they going to be pissed if they find Canadians are stealing all their pennies
7, less than .5% of the rest was US...Hey America there was an old saying..."look after the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves"
Counting up your Super Stock payout for the year? ;D
I too have a bunch of change sitting there waiting to be rolled. Hopefully over $200 worth. But I dont know if I have the patience to check the date on every single coin :-
oh you learn to spot em quick you can tell a King eddie cause it don't look nothin like modern penny. I have on hell of a head cold and was bored with watchin tv. Too cold in work in the garage and i was shivering like a dog trying to $hit a razor blade. I think the change is all we had left from all the carnage we endured
I took the time (for fun) to look at each coin, then simply shuffled them into each bucket (pennies, nickel's) and did a rough count, wanted to see how accurate the coin counting machine was (bang on). Took 45 minutes...
With older coins, you know if it's potentially older due to the change of what the coin looks like on both sides, so you don't need to flip each one as you scan them... went pretty quick considering I counted em all up.
Doug109, yeah fuel doesn't go far in the truck class, especially during the winter...ugh. Cars are getting better AWD systems and may look at buying on in the future, but for getting around in deep stuff, nothing beats a heavy SUV to move around snow covered roads.
Wow you guys still had change left.
I rolled all mine throught the season for tires.
Lol
