looking at the weather looks like rain for Friday  if so does that mean that opening night would be Saturday or next Friday  cause it would be nice to see the race on Saturday

Normally I wouldn't jump in on a discussion like this, but as for tomorrow, the hourlies we use are telling me that weather shouldn't be too big of a concern tomorrow:

As a reminder about the speedway's policy towards rainouts, we do not reschedule events for the following day.  The only exception to this are events that are specifically listed on the schedule as having raindates.

Weather forecasts are only used as a guideline -- the speedway handles the weather on the day of the event.  Because our fans and drivers travel from great distances, every effort is made to get events in if at all possible.
