Budget is a big consideration, but dougy is right. Grab a Vortec 350 out of a truck, get a new cam for it a good distributor and your getting there. Seeing how he is new getting as fast as he can be with out wacking down a wall is going to take proirity. standard transmission for sure

Ye, our third gen Firebird is going stick once Killer (the new driver) gets more comfortable out on traffic.
