weird that they would worry about them starting a club...the track was encouraging the ministocks to start a club a few years ago.

Is it possibly a latemodel club? Clubs would help to ensure car counts and lessen the burden on the tracks, Usually the club does it's own tech and officiating. This is a definite plus to the track.
I personally disagree with the clubs as any involovement I've had was terrible to say the least. I can think of corruption and pandering was the biggest issues. I'm not saying all clubs are bad but they due lend themselves to too much personal interest situations.

Further meetings with the Flamboro ownership are planned according to Gary, but until the 3 tracks of Delaware, Flamboro and Kawartha can get their rules in-line I doubt Flamboro will pick up any more Late Model cars.

Well, until Del and Flam get cool on their tire rules it wont happen...and I don't see that either side really wants that. (It'd be easy enough to do except that AFAIK each track has a different tire supplier.) I'm inclined to think if Del is gonna work with anyone, it'll likely be another NASCAR track.

Just a thought based on nothing, but I think a NASCAR working relationship is more likely than a Flam/Del alliance. Del and Flam had a primo opportunity for that 3/4 years ago and they (mostly Flammy) blew it.

I would look to Sunset possibly, heard a few rumors and apparently the new owners are doing a good job
