if you're talking about super stock that idea would work, they'd be boat anchors anyways so nobody will complain ;D

I think some people may take issue with the '82 and newer Camaro's having the 101 inch wheelbase. Compared to a metric car or an older camaro at 108, that is a significant advantage.
they probably would not be winners at first because of the head start the other cars have had with people working on them, but they would catch up.
BUT it might bring more cars into the classes because they are readily availiable.

that one advantage doesn't make up for all of the disadvantages 😉 myself, i'd like to see the class left alone for a while, car counts seem fairly strong and the cars aren't a bad price to build either.
