how about allowing 82-92 camaros run in thunder class??
there are lots out there now,try to find a good older camaro for cheap!!

if you're talking about super stock that idea would work, they'd be boat anchors anyways so nobody will complain  ;D

I think some people may take issue with the '82 and newer Camaro's having the 101 inch wheelbase. Compared to a metric car or an older camaro at 108, that is a significant advantage.

Maybe worthwhile looking into, but who is going to build the test car???

Delaware should build the test, run it, and see what happens??

Well I for one would love to help on that project. I've wanted to try to build one of those bad boys. I've heard there are a few in states that are real fast. And for sure Scotty Way's ride was evil ;D

Ours was a train wreck from cooling only, and a non-biased brake system making it loose in. With a crap motor, we pulled 23.7's at some points with it. Also, the car wasn't properly scaled, and setup by a pro. This car has wayyyy more in it, but they seriously need a diet in the back end. These cars are workable, with the right people on it.

Only things I know were good were Ackerman, toe, so on. That was relatively quick to do, but I was on a divorced man's budget this year. The car is still in my team, but I moved over to the less expensive Honda/Acura car. I could fill the tank, and run three races if I wanted...... as long as the Right Front held up 🙂
