There's two cars on that team so that's $50.00. On a sad note there was a young lady hit by a flying wheel, apparently she is ok and will make a full recovery. She was on the pit side grandstands

Can't blame the track for sportsman award. That was voted on by your fellow drivers in your division. Just saying.

I believe there are many people who are considering racing at a different track other then Flamboro. I am one who would. But for some it is the constraints of time, and others it is the constraints of finances that make that difficult. I have been encouraging others to take the love of racing to a different track, and it would be my suggestion of other track owners to do what they can to draw others to their tracks. The time is now, and it is ripe to draw other drivers and sponsors to their tracks.

It would seem some of the racers are again upset with the management at Flamboro. We just might see a team or two show and I've been asked several times about a 4 cylinder class. Maybe as back to back with the enduros?

Some interesting news from Gary Elliott's website.

He mentioned that he was given a Cry-Baby of the Year award to go along with the Late Model Best Appearing Car and Most Sportsmanlike at the recent Flamboro banquet!

Also, he is concerned with the Late Model car count and the purse distribution for next year.  Flamboro ownership was worried that the drivers may be starting a club which is not Gary's intention.

Further meetings with the Flamboro ownership are planned according to Gary, but until the 3 tracks of Delaware, Flamboro and Kawartha can get their rules in-line I doubt Flamboro will pick up any more Late Model cars.

My 2009 Race Count: 52

My 2009 Track Count: 19 - East Bay Raceway(FL), New Smyrna(FL), Volusia(FL), Bristol(TN), Flamboro(ON), Delaware(ON), Sunset(ON), Merrittville(ON), Ohsweken(ON), Lancaster Dunn Tire(NY), Kawartha(ON), Humberstone(ON), Ransomville(NY), Sauble(ON), Eriez(PA), Oswego(NY), Airborne(NY), Brighton(ON), Peterborough(ON)

Next Up: December 4-6, Five Flags Speedway(FL) Snowball Derby
