you could ban novas, firebirds, camaro type cars for a start....they have done this with humberstone purestocks which brings out all kinds of different cars...and gets rid of the "racecars"....
Have you even been to delaware ??? more than half the track is camaros why the hell would people ban them....btw the cars you're selling probably wouldnt hold up against the camaros,firebirds,novas and such.
i was responding to dougy109's post about making it an entry level class again...
not selling the cars i posted, the ads were examples of what they run at humberstone in their purestock class with impalas, crown vics, cutlasses, monte carlos...these guys run every 2 weeks and then use their cars in enduros...no camaros
the camaro guys moved up to street stocks which helped that class or sold their cars for others to move up and built new ones to stay in purestock...it actually benefited both classes and brought out a better variety of cars for the fans to see...
but this was at a dirt track and that is the difference.
I've ran the past two years , what they need to do is start cracking down on the motors, suspensions, they should not be allowed crate motors, you go back a while ago when the car count was high, when people built the car they ran the motor that the car came with now you got grates and other cars with motors with anywheres from 3000 to 7000 grand in them, I wont lie i was one of them, when also have you seen stock cars from the factory come with AFCO or PRO shocks or landrom springs. don't get me wrong i love racing and building race cars but I think if we take the enduros back the way they should be i think delaware would get the car counts back up, cause for the average guy that wants to race the enduros its hard cause he builds a car and has a little fun but then it gets hard because now he wants to do better but cant because it costs a lot of money to faster.
We need a 1000 dollar class. Enduro just isn't anymore at all. 4Cyl. with zero camber, no turbo-s, or all wheel drives. Fire suit, moms stolen Civic, with a 6 point cage.
