Howdy all. Well life got in the way and I was unable to attend the Delaware general meeting. Anyone know what went on, or was it business as usual?

went pretty smooth all in all when of the better rules meetings I've been to. Nothing over the top and nothing to get wound up about

Not that I run in a class that requires it, I still lack the ability to grasp my head around denying the one guy to run a 16 volt system. It makes slightly better power in the spark, that's it. If you want to run 16 volts with an alternator, ungh what a pain. It is possible, but really useless. I say, if the guy wants to run it, let him spend the cash. Only advantage he seriously may have, was a few extra pounds removed for no alternator.

I do believe the full floater is a viable thing. And as Wilcox added, you are adding weight to your own car, so if you wanna run it... go ahead I assumed. If they cheap enough to run, go for it. I do say, the safety part of it isn't bad either.

Very little talk about the mods, which made me a little nervous for the class. I have heard that they had meetings, but as a fan of the class, I can say support for them seems to be lacking. I would like to see them have more guys show up, but looks like I may be pipe dreaming.

I don't see a big deal, we ran our Flamboro thunder with no alternator and a 12 volt battery, never had a problem just had to charge every week.  one night and the battery would still read 75%
