extra picks, extra work , cant see as a tie is a problem tbh
Maybe I'm missing something.
Each poster could need top go through everyones picks on 5 pages every week to double check his picks.

Ah. OK. See that's the kind of input I'm after.

OK so we drop the "you can't pick exactly what someone else did" rule. Worst case scenario: 2 guys pick all nine in exactly the same order, and they win, then tie goes to the guy who posted first. That makes sense.

Just throwing something out here Trev. Since you are doing the monthly rankings would formatting this contest like PRO Line does for NASCAR be a cleaner way of starting out? I'm thinking for guys like me who have a general knowledge of all the personalities but wouldn't know where to start as far as a pick 3 format. Would make the rankings and subsequent comments have some "critical mass" for doing your Friday night picks.

I get what you mean, but the Power Ranking thing is just a once a month column that I'm still working on a format for. (and it wont be solely based on finishing positions either) And Im sorry, but I'm not familiar with Pro Line.

If you need to know how to vote, last season's points are a good place to start, and the points are always up to date as the season draws on.

(I don't want to create a monster here....I'm hoping against hope to keep this as simple as possible and still include all divisions.)

No problem and thanx.

FYI on Pro Line.
Drivers are paired up and you pick which one will finish better than the other. You get all your picks right you win. This happens very rarely. They are usually paired up pretty close to where they are in the points. For example with the NASCAR points right now Jimmie Johnson would be paired up with Kevin Harvick then Biffle / Kenseth, K Busch / M Martin etc.
