Count me in on anything I can do.
John my apologies and yes it appears the track has supported some charities in the past.My proposal for the food bank requires little to no money and EVERYBODY can easily contribute. Call it a challenge for 2012
Thanks Matt for your offer of support we will meet and discuss this further, I really want this to work. they also will provide a truck if this is persued on top of the hill as well. I made some inquiries a couple of months ago.
John are you really suprised by the return of the surveys? I'm not.

One day still remains officially for competitors to officially participate. There will be a short window after which where the survey will still be active, but the link will be pulled when the final report starts to be assembled.
Reminder: Driver’s who received their survey link by e-mail should use that e-mail link to fill out their survey which will automatically register their e-mail address as correct on the competitor database.
Those who did not receive a survey link by e-mail may use the online version here for this consultation, which will then automatically add their e-mail address to the correct competitor list: http://delawarespeedway.com/competitor-survey-underway
Every person who has put a car track for a Delaware division in the past five years or so should be filling this survey out. Competitor input is of critical importance in determining what is working and where improvements can be made. Not participating ensures that your voice will not be heard. Make sure we know your thoughts, concerns, and ideas by participating!

On to the promotional side:
I also asked a while back for tickets to distribute to people at work (we have over 500 employees).
While the speedway wouldn’t be able to provide 500 passes, if your company has a decal on your race car, springing for a handful of courtesy promotional passes for first-timers should not have been an issue. We’re not in the business of giving away mountains of these for free, but for specific programs (especially for car sponsors) we have been known to be generous. Better yet, let’s put some schedules and two-for-one passes in your hands to give those people.
I said at the meeting and I meant it - - if you want to help us promote to people who have never been to the track before, we will give you the tools to do it.
I noticed that season passes this year are back to a ticket book with the added bonus of being able to give a ticket to someone else if you can't make a particular race. I for one as a fan will be taking advantage of this and giving tickets I know I can't use to people that wouldn't normally go to the races.
Ernie that is exactly the atittude that is required to keep the dream alive.
I think we should all promote the hell out of the Bone Stock deal as well. I know allot guys bitched it was stupid but c'mon how else are we going to attract some new folks. If I can afford it I will definitely build another. We had fun last year.
Do we have a charity yet as I want to start selling CRO Bumper Stickers and I can give 1.00 from each sale to a charity.
Let me know as I can get some stickers made up.
