Hey let me first wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the happiest of seasons to everyone in the Delaware community. I hope everyone gets to spend the day with those they love most.

So, my involvement online this year was not what it was in seasons past. It wasn't due to lack of interest or anything like that, just personal and professional things kept me from being as involved as I wanted to be. However I'm hoping to turn things around this year.

At the drivers meeting, John pointed out that Facebook and Twitter are tools that we can utilize to keep in touch with fans, and hopefully drive them to planting themselves in the seats out at the track on Friday nights.

Now I don't know much about Twitter, but Facebook is another thing....so here's my offer: If you wish, I will create a custom FB "Fan Page" for any team that wants one. This is a little different than your regular FB page, and you can use it to update with race reports and other news that might be of interest to your fans. All people have to do is click "like" to be a fan, and they can post on your wall, and your reports will come up in their news feed. I'll create the page, then add whomever you wish as an administrator on it. All I'd really need from you are some photos.

Heck...maybe we can have a prize at the end of the season for the team with the most "likes". Sorta the modern version of the old populartiy ballot they used to put in the back of the souvenir program.

Anyway, lots of guys know how to use FB...this is nothing profound, but if you'd like to have a fan page created for you, just E-mail me

And again, all the best to the Delaware Speedway community, and everyone else in CRO land.

ALso, please pass this along to anyone you may know that doesn't necessarily read the boards.
