Well you might be paying for Mcoll`s knowledge and around ontario it seems like that is what you have to buy to win, that being said , i do not or have not seen to much winning with his cars outside of Ontario other than maybe in Canadian Tire series.
Funny, both Lefthander and Port City sell quality chassis, have great knowledge and tech support and have proven winning records and you can buy chassis cheaper from them and you do not have to order certain parts just from them as you do from Mcoll.
As far as prices, way out to lunch, as said before you can buy a very competitive port city super on here for 14,000. turn key or buy a mccoll built super stock for 15,000.
Wow, i would really have to think that one over, lol !
Just one of many examples, certainly are lots more, but until the racers start using their heads instead of their pocket book, racing will continue a downward spiral.
And by the way, it is not Mcoll`s fault, he is in business because he is there to make money, there are lots of other problems such as crate motors and tracks with to much playing with rules or not enforcing them. Would love to see all tracks with great car and fan counts but hardly likely to see that again, except Sunset which we all know is doing well with Mark and his staff running things.

After reading this I may as well not bother bringing my new non-mccoll built super stock out to Delaware, especially since I won't be spending enough...time to take up knitting  ;D Showler should have stayed home this year as well, instead of winning the championship in a non-mccoll car. You're best bet for this guy that started the thread, by the Otts car, find a used crate, you'll get a good start cheap in a competitive car and you can figure it out from there.
