very few of the Motordrome and Jennerstown cars made the trip to Western NY and vice versa. Lake Erie looks like a good neutral site. Too bad there's no cross lake ferry to Erie. The track is pretty close to the London area as the crow flies (damn lake-LOL).
Holland has dropped the LMs weekly this season so their two MAARA races should be pretty good and the highlight of their season, if there is not Whelen Mod tour (plus no Busch East race this year--series has priced itself almost out of existence). Still waiting to hear if Lancaster is still having LMs or just concentrating on their mods. Lake Erie has switched to Saturdays and should get a damn good LM field as a result. Well worth a visit.

Sure, there were only 6 who did the full tour last year, but there the best in the region IIRC...Maybe there'd be more, who knows...Delaware isn't too-too far from Lancaster, so some guys could make the trip to Delaware for the Sunday if the purse is big enough...Who knows, maybe Pete/Cole will get Delaware out there to those guys over the summer as an option, who knows...

So what is the best guess on car counts for the 07 season???

I dont know the exact car count, but lets review what has happened in the off season.

I hear Jamie Ramsey has a latemodel, Todd Powell has Hathaways '06 car, so thats two rookies in the late models.

Some unknowns: The McColl Rent-a-ride, Ramsey drove it last in the APC 300 but that isnt the car he has now, is that still available? All the ALSTAR competitors?

With the new divisions at Grand Bend, will we lose some street stock and truck competitors?

2007 will be a challenging year.

How close are the Delaware trucks to the St. Eustache trucks? Even if they are close, GB runs on Saturday nights, so you will have guys who can't run the Bend because they wrecked at Delaware friday night. Also, the Street Stocks at GB are actually stock, no performance mods, stock motor, stock carb, stock suspension.
