I personally think that nascar is getting boring watching the same two guys outfront. especially when you dont like the guys outfront. I hope that they both get wrecked because i am sick and tired of good races being ruined by the same person winning every week.

Speed racer, based on that comment then you really would have hated the good ole days since it was a complet whipping Petty was putting on the teams back in the day.  Come on, its not the drivers fault all your hearing is the Jimmie/Jeff show.  The media is going way over on the coverage considering some of the other battles going on during this chase.

Sure, Gordon should wreck Johnson ! Wreck his own car, his teammate, his good friend and lose all of the respect he has taken over a decade to attain from both fans and competitors. Can you sense my sarcasm ? Even old Ironhead Earnhardt wouldn't contemplate such a stupid move. Give your head a shake.

Gordon won this championship last race anyway. This would have been Gordon's 6th using the old system. I'm a traditionalist and will never truly embrace the chase.

Yes I hate the new system. Gordon got nothing for being at the top of the standings till the chase they reward him by placing him in second to start the chase. They should have given something for being first till the chase.

They need to fix this as Gordon was cheated out of his 6th championship.

All they need to fix the old system was award more points for a win. once the chase starts the other 31 drivers are racing for 13th which is like first to them as they get and extra 1 million.
