Unlike Franchitti, at least Jacques was somewhere close to the front when he'd tool it up...

Unlike JV , Franchitti had an owner and now a sponsor in NASCAR that wanted him and did not just come along with a bag of cash and buy a ride . I don't think anyone doubts Jacques talent but all his temper tantrums and bad mouthing everyone from  Michael Schumacher to Lewis Hamilton caught up with him again .

Jacques can always go back to making records since his last album did sell 159 copies  .

I haven't hearing anything about any temper tantrums or bad mouthing at Daytona.  Please enlighten us.....

As far as I know he was on his best behavior at Daytona . What i was referring to is the long long list of incidence in his past . There are very few people in his past from other drivers to sponsors to owners that JV has not bad mouthed and that sort of thing tends to follow you .

From Andrew Benson BBC.com

Week in and week out for the last year or two Jacques has done nothing but mouth off about how poorly the team is doing and about what a great driver he is. He made it obvious that he thought that the work that the people around him were doing was sub-par and that he was above it. Was he not part of a TEAM that was working towards a goal?

Villeneuve's brand of holier-than-thou attitude is poisonous in a team environment and highly destructive to morale. On top of that, the team was paying heavily for the "honor" of having this poisonous attitude in their paddock every race. Takuma may not be as good a driver as Jacques, but he WANTS to be there and will not disparage his team as he strives for results.

You don't have to look too hard to find 100s of articles of this type about JV in his past and i believe this is why he cant find a sponsor of any type .
