I don't think any one picked # 12 Ryan Newman.
Not a bad race to bad for the Hendrick cars.
Classic case of the fastest car doesn't always win .
The first 120 laps were a snoozer but it did have a good ending. I have to wonder if Dale Jr made a wise choice bringing his cousin with him to Hendrick.
+1
I didn't realize until the final rundown that there were more than 10 cars in the race. Fox did a terrible job covering it. As soon as someone dropped out of the top ten (and for a while, the lead draft of three cars), they stopped paying attention to them. Gordon dropped from top 5 to 20th in about 10 laps, and it took them almost a full fuel run to realize it. From what I saw on the free HotPass coverage, there was some good racing going on farther back, but they couldn't be bothered to show it.
Talk about mystery cautions....usually they show the debris...the first caution they didnt even say why, did they?
At the get together I was at I drew Kenseth and the guy that took him out.LOL.
But I was pulling for Martin.
Great finish after a lame beginning.
Opening ceremonies were good, too bad they didnt show the Brooks and Dunn video with Dale sr. in it while they played.
