i read somewhere in an older thread about saying some positive things about Barrie Speedway so I Thought I'd start a topic. This thread is not a bashing thread and should only be used to say positive things about the Speedway. It is in no way suppose to be an arguing match over Sunset and Barrie. Please limit this to Barrie Speedway and if you don't have anything nice to write, we all at Barrie Speedway would appreciate that you did not add to this thread....thanks
On that note I think the atmosphere is pretty good this year. The track officials whom we spoke with were all awesome people. Darryl did a great job first night out. Got a chance to meet Andy Wells last week and he is a stand up guy and he's willing to work with people to make everybody's experience the best it can be. Things went smooth and the calls were consistant and there was no favouritsm. Also didn't even know they did draws in the drivers meetings. That deal is really cool. the #6 LM got a free tire. Thayne's bro got a trip i believe to Horseshoe, Donny Brandon got a free oil change and I believe Mike Woodward got $50 free in race fuel. I really feel this track is heading in the right direction.
Well from a Fan's perspective; we were definately not crowded in the empty stands! Lots of seating left over. It is nice they did draws for the drivers. However things went smooth because the number of cars in each race, allowed for safe passing. Not really enough to call it a Race. Was uneventful and boring; but that is just my opinion. See you all at Sunset this weekend! ;D
From what I can see you can't read. You are going to post negitive stuff when the guy says it clear in the message this is for postitive stuff and then you say see you at sunset.
We are not going through this again.
