At Flamboro, if the green flag dropped, the race 'start' is now official. Doesnt matter if the caution come out before the lap is over. Yes, it would be a complete restart dbl file, but no new cars may enter the track. On the other hand, if you are involved in the wreck and can't continue, you are given credit for the start since the race start is based on the initial green flag.

I personally think that's the best policy. You're there or you're not. After the first green is thrown, the race has started.

that was the rule that we used to have also. we changed it due to the fact that we run for peanuts and would hate to not let a local driver not run his car. we went with a new rule that once the green drops the track is always green, red and yellow exceptions, so even if the car joins at lap 4 he has still taken the green because the track is green.

That rule is ok....but when your car counts are 30+ every night, and they only allow 24 in the feature, you are always sending home locals.
