I'm not sure how anyone would say there were 2 laps down, when the leader (Dixon ) was coming to complete the first lap and was spun into the infield on the front straightaway. 72 was put to the back for spinning him and 92 also went to the back, but I am not sure whether he had pitted or not. Rule is not written up anywhere, but it has been done before, that when it is a complete restart, a car came come out of the pits, so nothing wrong with 00 going to the back to start. I know a lot of people would be pissed off, just because it was the 00 car, but fair is fair, and someday someone else may be looking for a break, and that's all it was, was a lucky break. If one lap had been completed, he wouldn't have been out there.
HAHA what a joke you all need to invest in scanners!! listen to the track frequency and just laugh!!! The leaders were finishing lap 2 and did Dixon was not leading and collected the 22x on his way by as well!! but hey that's just how I seen it!! and I hear that they had a wee bit of a disagreement over the air waves too!!
damn, i gotta get me a race scanner so that i don't have to read anything on here! lol...that way i'd know it all
already thought you did lol seriously the Barrie race procedure rules say that you can not join a race after the green and get points " unless directed by the track official" rule #3 . nice loop hole.
yes true enough! but with a complete restart which they were saying it was ( i'm not arguing this point cause i honestly wasn't paying attention to whether a lap was completed or not) does that mean it's the start of the race again? meaning any car can enter at that point....or should the rules say intital green flag? plus it should not be left to the discretion of the track!!! I think at a caution anycar should be able to enter the race.....on a complete restart they should be scored 1 lap down....at another caution point throughout the race they should be scored as if they were as many laps down as had been completed. so if there is a caution and 5 laps are complete then that guy who enters the race should start 5 laps down.....they do it in nascar if a car is unable to roll off the grid and needs work! when the car comes back after the green flag he is scored that many laps down. Just because he came on the track after the green flag doesn't mean that we should send him home! If we are affiliated with Nascar we should adopt more of their governing bodies rules! It would take some politics out of the racing at Barrie Speedway! But i just say let them all race....it's suppose to be fun anyways...that's my take on the situation!!!
