Flamboro is scored  from the tower, and we run 1 set of heats and a consi to set the Feature.

The top 18 are handicapped, and start in reverse of the points standings (with cars who missed last week in behind them), then the last 6 from the consi are handicapped as well (which is silly)

It's scored by person. No computers involved.

1st-18th
The way they handicap at flamboro is...well, to make it simple...Assuming ALL car are registered, and were there the previous week...The top 18 spots, determined by the top 6 in each head line up according to their points, but in reverse. So, in this situation the leader in points would start 18th. 2nd place in points would start in front of him...and so on. The exceptions would be non-registered drivers, or drivers who missed last week would start in behind the points leader.

19th - 24th
The final 6 spots are determined by the consi...They are also handicapped in the same fashion. lowest in points in 19th, and highest in the 24th. and the same exceptions apply, non register and cars who missed last week behind the highest in points.

There is a little more to it. I won't go in to too much detail, so you may have to think a little bit about this cuz Im not sure how to explani it clearly, but....

If you miss a week, you are treated as having gained the maximum amount of points for that night. The points they use for handicapping for the feature will include those points, where the points standings you see on the website, and the ones that determine the trophies at the end of the year, do not include handicapped points.

Hopefully that sums it up. A very good system with a little fine tuning. It has it's flaws, but it's in it's first year. They will work on it for next year, I'm sure of it.

ok i get it thanks similar to ours. 1st heat of the nite based on last events feature finishing order. 2nd heat based on first heat finishing inverted. feature done by average points ( total points divide by number of events attended) highest average to the rear.

Sort of, yes, but our heats are lined up by a draw. I think the average points finish would make a little more sense, but at the same time. A car who attends all 10 night so far, ahouls start in front of 1 who has only attending 5...regardless of average points or total points in cluding handicapping. IMO.
