yeah I know what you mean Thayne! Even when the belts are tight it still hurts afterwards where the belts are. No matter how safe we make these cars, theres always the chance of getting injured. No matter what series your in and what safety device you may have you could get hurt. But the most important thing is that everybody in the racing community is there for one and another. There to say kind words and encourage that racer to get back out in a racecar when they feel better. Racing for me at the track feels like a family environment. It's what makes racing fun and enjoyable and the reason i keep showing up every week! Without fun, there's no racing. Every racer has fun and a passion for the sport. It's great to see the sportsmanship at the track when somebody gets hurt. It makes you feel important like people care. Joe will get better, Joe will race again!! Every injured racer gets back into the saddle again!!! Recover quickly buddy and I am sure there are people out there can get help you get back on the track!!! Look at Tia Dale a prime example of this lending me her spare car when i almost wrote mine off! There are great people all over at the track!!!! When it comes to racers getting injured these great people should be commended for their thoughts and their help!
