Yes, I too was a bit confused by that..First off I had heard that since we completed 6 of 10 scheduled races the night was considered complete and rain out policy wouldn't be in effect.. Then upon arriving over on the pitside I hear that the entire date is a wash and were now racing on Fri night instead, with the wristbands from last night now being valid for free entry on the 3rd or 4th..

Now being that I was doing the announcing last night, I would of liked to let the fans know this upon their departure from the speedway.. The communication broke down there somewhere along the line, and I sure hope the fan base was informed upon their departure that their bands would be valid for a regular race night on either the Fri or Sat of this coming weekend.. Lets hope this all gets straightened out and the proper info regarding this particular rain out policy and how it will effect those that were in attendance is explained properly and in detail on the website this coming week...

we held the drivers meeting after to decide so there probably was too much time between the end of the ngiht and the exodus of the fans to inform them....

From my understanding....the features will be made up in the coming weeks, but for this weekend Friday is an ADDED points night from the rain out of a couple weeks ago...and Sat is a normal night...

In full agreement there.. The Spring Auto Flea Market usually draws BIG crowds for the Sat evening of racing, so why not try Friday?? Makes perfect sense to me.. Also with the Flea Market next door it tends to make for a killer KOH show as you get the gearheads comin over to try a flying lap in their street rods.. Here's for hoping it all works out, and perhaps we get the odd traveller who might want to register and come try Barrie out as well..Not holding out alot of hope there but as Kevin Garnett once said....... ANYTHING'S POSSSSSIBLLLLLLLLLLLE... 😀

Hold on a second I thought Friday was to make up the missed features from last night? So for the Late Models we'd run 1 feature Friday and then 2 Saturday. Are you saying the Late Models will be running 2 features Friday to make up for the missed night from a few weeks ago plus on Saturday running 3 features? 1 missed from last night and the regular 2 features?
