Well that is pretty good news Di.. 4 LLM features this weekend just when it looks like things are starting to heat up in that division.. Been some great, clean short track racing amongst the top 7-8 cars already this year, can hardly wait to see what the weekend brings.. Although I think the boys will be on their best behavior on Fri night as nobody wants nor should have a big fix on their hands just to make it out for points racing the next night.. Be interesting to see how it all plays out that's for sure..

Be good news for the 28 car as he doesnt miss a point night, and I'd expect to see Robin out for at least the Fri night show, as the NCATS race is on a Sunday this week.. Also works out pretty handy for the 10 of Shepherd with the Delly LM off Fri night.. That coulda caused a potential dilemma with Gord in the top 5 at both places..

I'd like to see a few Sunset Super Stocks to turn up Fri to help strengthen the field a bit.. From the sounds of it I'd expect to see the 07 car.. ;).. But other than that, my guess says the only other one with the jam to come up could be Flyin Frank.. Would add Marty to that list too, but with the Hamilton drive and he being pretty close to the top of points down there it seems unlikely.. Same would likely apply for the 22 of Elliott..

In Pure Stocks, I'm pretty sure Sat nights feature is an extended 30 lapper, so that might give the fast guys a bit better chance to charge to the front.. Had heard Travy, Gipper, and Shawn all got 100 pounds added from last week so that should balance things out a bit..

one would hope that if one track has a suspened driver the other local track may think twice about letting him/her run during the suspension.....i know rules dont cross over and policies maybe different.....but,  and sorry for the lack for a better phrase #07 driver......but why would Barrie Speedway want another tracks dirty laundry, and possibly have an issue with their drivers who have supported them in the tougher times......i know the response "they only have 10-13 thundercars....but what if the suspened driver comes north a takes out 3 or 4 cars out and in two weeks he heads back south and leaves barrie with a few less cars???...........and this isnt a shot @ the #07, this could be about anyone and this issue has been delt with before with a driver in the thunder car division a few years ago.... not to mention both friday and saturday are points nights....

Well first off I have no idea if Barrie would honor a suspension from another area track or not ( seems likely but really a 50/50 call at best) and no matter what you or I say about it, our opinions dont matter a hill of beans in the big picture.. I don't know what past TC driver you were meaning in your reference but I can recall in past years both the Cunningtons and Norm Stoddard having Barrie suspensions and being allowed to race at the other area track during those suspensions.. ( Granted both tracks had different owners then..)

As for this particular case I personally have seen this driver  race at Sunset, Barrie, Pete, and Sauble last year and not once did I see him intentionally try and wreck someone or drive overly dangerously (not saying it didnt happen just that I didnt personally see it).. I did see one time he block another drivers exit off the track and have words with him ( but what driver hasnt done that).. So I guess you could say as a race fan I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.. But again not my call to make..

I've also heard from a regular Barrie TC that competed against the car in question that they personally had no issue with the way Dan has ever raced them... So I too will put some weight in that and be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt..

And I'm not speaking on the fact that Barrie has only been getting 10- 12 cars nightly either.. That wouldnt alter my perception or views on this one way or the other.. Sure I'd like to see a few more cars out as anyone would, but I also find sometimes the races with only 14-16 cars produce better racing than the full fields of 22-24 cars.. I find this especially true at Barrie.. So thats my take... like it matters!! 😮

I think most people forgot that the first LM feature counts. Not sure why the website isn't updated yet.
