Do we have to Buy the Nascar deal to run on friday??? Would LOVE to come up and Play!

Marty, while I cant say for certainty.. Yes I'd imagine to race this Fri (being a Barrie point night) that you'd have to get the Nascar licence.. That said doesnt hurt to call and ask.. Perhaps someone that knows better than I could respond.. Just doesnt seem fair to our drivers otherwise, not to mention any insurance issues that might arise if god forbid a visiting driver were to get hurt.. They were allowing grace nights last season ( I believe it was a max of 2) but I think that really was to attract more cars and wasnt technically "the procedure"..But as I say doesnt hurt to call and leave a message at the speedway office you should have your call returned in 24 hrs..

I think most people forgot that the first LM feature counts. Not sure why the website isn't updated yet.

I wouldnt read too much about the website being updated if Sat night's feature indeed counts.. I wasnt even gonna bother with an actual speedway report myself.. My guess says if indeed Sat nights feature counts it will all be updated at the conclusion of the weekend.. As I think Diane mentioned they dont have full control of the website yet and Andy could have other things on the go related to the hockey team...

Last year Dave Doucette showed up at the gate to race at Barrie in the Stefko series event, he was under suspension at Sunset, so Darryl St.Onge turned him away.  So unless I miss my guess you wont see the 07 at Barrie.  Barrie is pretty loyal to its loyal drivers.

Thats my guess.

I don't think Dave being turned away last year had so much to do with the suspension incurred at Sunset.... Just sayin..
