Just about everything gets destroyed by the TQ Can Ams, they run 12 point whatever on our track... And when I checked into it you could buy one for about 9 or 10 grand. I like the Mod 4 idea, and maybe it would be a travelling series with Barrie as the home track... Sunset is the home track for Ontario Pro Challenge cars, and Flammy is the home track for Canadian Vintage Modifieds... CVM runs a lot of their sched at Flamboro.
But again this is up to the guys who want to run the cars, not me. I've got enough on my plate with Thunder Cars right now.
Even if the Barrie and Flamboro guys could get together that would work great too.
I would love to get into one of those cars. CSC says they can make the cage and I'm sure they could fabricate the chassis with a little more info. The rules are simple and not very time consuming for the tech official either by the look of it. They are also working on a crate engine idea as well. May just build one myself just for the hell of it and run with them here and there.
What are the chances of adapting an 8 cylinder open wheel modified to a 4 cylinder mod 4?There are plenty of available chassis available in this area.
In Michigan we have run 4 cyl FWD cars for a few years,

Spartan Speedway in lansing michigan has been running 4 cyl fwd cars the longest, and has the most equitable rules.
They even up the competiton between the 2 valve per cylinder cars and the 4 valve per cylinder cars in very simple, low cost, and easy to tech ways,
2 valve cars have are allowed a bigger engine ( 2.5 L) and a bigger EXHAUST outlet ( 2 in OD), and weigh less( 100lbs)
4 valve cars (Neons) have a Smaller engine ( 2.0 l) and a smaller exhaust outlet ( 1.5 in OD ) and weigh 100 lbs more.
PLUS all cars have to use NARROW street tires.

also,,,
At Auto city speedway in Flint they copied Spartan speedways rules ,but also allowed mustangs,,,
It worked great,,,a boy and girl tied for first place season champs,, the boy had a rwd mustang and the girl had a FWD automatic trans 16 valve dodge Neon.
Keep your rules Stock and only allow narrow street tires,,,and only allow a 1 1/2 inch outlet for the exhaust system on all 16 valve cars.
A very restricted exhaust rule works! it is Cheap , Easy to tech, makes cheater parts like big cams less effective, and it automatically limits maximum rpm's.
DO NOT ALLOW HEADERS!!! only allow Stock exhaust manifolds!! with a single SMALL outlet pipe.
