hey on the 1st it was stated that there will be an autograph session for barrie! is that still going on? Does anybody have any info? if so it would be appreciated as I would like to bring some goodies for the little ones if there is as well as my hero cards to autograph for people.
Oh and to add to this, does anybody have any information about the banquet? There is usually by now something up about the banquet! Time, place, cost and what not.....This is why I am completely concerned with the new ownership cause there may not be a banquet this year which will be awful! Won't be the first time it's happened. Who recalls the banquet information being posted on Barrie well before the season is over? I remember the past coouple of seasons it has been posted well before the 2nd last weekend of racing!!! If it doesn't get posted after this weekend I am pretty sure it won't happen as this gives drivers and crew only the last weekend to buy tickets for it!
Well if there isn't a banquet I guess we need to have a chat with the new owners about things over the winter. They said at the meeting that they were going to have it and it may take them a little more time as they are new to how things have been in the past. I wish they would hold the drivers meetings before the banquet so we can get busy with our cars over the winter. If there are any changes I would like to know before I start work on the car.
When Allyson asked in the drivers meeting, Brad said they were going to try for the autograph session for September 15th. And as for the Banquet, We are having one. They will probably come out with the info soon. Last year I think it was $35 or $40 per person...
