If anyone wants a 77 Mustang II for free pm. me.. this is the body and chassis only from the firewall back .I sold the front end to a guy building a hot rod... I do have the fenders and hood and grille header but not the rad support . It still has the stock rear in it  .I will want the wheels and tires back after you move it . It is already gutted including the dash removed . I have the engine  ,2.3 but will need some $ for it.. it has 38,000 original miles on it .

it may be important to let the people know more about the motor! whether the head is oval ported or d shaped or a d-shaped oval! Each head has different compression!

I have the d-shaped oval and the oval port heads. The oval port has more end of the straight speed, the d-shaped oval has more umph coming out of the corner and fairly good straightaway speed!

The one Mustang drivers should stay away from is the complete D ported head. Although you can use it. It comes on motors with less Hp. Mustangs tend to come with anywhere from 88HP to 102HP depending on what head is on the motor and whether it is carburated or what not. If I am correct the 77 should have the oval port head, but it might be a good idea to have a quick peak if at all possible to find out! You may get more interest in the motor if it is the right head!

You are correct Spencer Lewis Kimmerly did run a 4 cylinder with some success at Mosport . i believe Ryder had a 3.1 V6 this year which is why he never ran Kawartha at all but i am not positive about that. Hinds , Galbraith ,Coppins and Lepizzera/Scott were the class of the place all in V6s

Yes it the motor at Randy's... I was going to give it to my fiancee's son for his dirt car but he won't be racing anymore this year. It is an original 76 motor from the car I had painted for my son . I have no idea of it's use in a race car ,it may be better suited for a street car ,it needs cleaning and some gaskets probably but was running fine when pulled. If I hadn't got the new engine out of the parts car I would not have changed the engines . I really want to get this parts car out of the driveway before the cold weather arrives . If no one from here wants it, I will just call a scrap yard I suppose. Thanks for asking  about it.
