Ya Steeve. It makes no sence to make the drivers pay, then turn around and pay them back the next week....Give ur head a shake.....thats just slowing things down at the gate, and creating more paper work.
I can see the arguement about letting driver's in for free...however how many tracks in Ontario do this? From my knowledge it's on Sunset. Every track I've ever been too made me pay full pop at 20-25 bucks.
Makes sense to me...Colts not doing well this year Charge the drivers and crew Colts did well lastyear...let everyone in free...I see a pattern!
I think that what barrie is doing is fair enough.
all the sunset honeymooners out there who think drivers should get in free don't realize if the money was coming out of dilleys or just one owners pocket probably nobody would be getting in for free. i think thats what it boils down to at this point
and it just shows how sunset really is just doing its own thing, not working with other tracks. i bet that the other track owners are sh*tting because its screwing them in the end because all the narrow minded people out there now think drivers should get in for free everywhere.
ever notice the money figures on the $50,000 shootout poster adds up only to like $28 grand?
see what $$ actually ends up getting paid out in the end.
i bet that if any pavement track in north america is turning a profit you can be damn sure that drivers are paying something to get in.
still no uniform rules for pavement racing in ontario is what people should be bitching about not paying to get into race.
$10 is fair and much better then in previous years. I will agree with that. It's not a huge deal either way because we've been use to paying the full shot now for years. I thought what they did last year was overboard and thought maybe this year they would meet in the middle somewhere. I understand they need money for payouts and for other things to keep the speedway going. Not a huge deal just thought I would comment.
