Truth is according to the management at Barrie, there never was a confirmed Simcoe County Shootout, just another lie from Wes trying to look like the good guy but all of the time having a hidden adgenda (stealing thunder car drivers) even Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles can see that one. Second of all Barrie always tends to do its own thing and like it or not it is the most succesful track in Ontario. Why would winners (Barrie) want to get into bed with Wes a man who has proven to us time after time that he has no regard for others and is incapable of telling the truth. Now Wes's latest move is "hey l am the drivers friend l tried to improve racing and nobody wanted to work with me",of course they do not want to work with you because you are a dishonerable man. It's true it's true.
The schedules are not out yet, maybe the shootout is not dead. Jim Payetta said in the late model meeting that he was in contact with Sunset & trying to work with them if possible. Keeping the tire we have just makes sense, it's what the drivers wanted, it pretty much got a standing ovation.
Terry you couldn't be futher from the Truth "it's true it's true" I was at that meeting and Sunset was brought up. They also talked about the Invitationals between the 2 tracks.
The Hoosier tire isnt that bad we get 4 nights on the right side 5 nights on the left, but the towel city is a faster tire. I dont know how long they last, but I do know we spent $2000 in tires this year.
I stretch my tires longer than I should, and got a bunch of old tires from a generous source, but I know our team didn't spend $2000 on tires. Might be close for two cars... I was told $2200 was what it would cost for tires if we went with Hoosiers. Again depends on where they are on the car, but we got more than 5 nights out of a tire. And going to Sunset really destroyed one set.
OK so who said there was never a confirmed shootout. You can't just come on and accuse someone of being a liar with out proof and we are not going down that alley again.
