I don't know if Barrie Speedway shafted Sunset... Sunset wanted to run the Hoosier tire, and Barrie agreed to run that tire, until the meeting, when it was unanimously decided by the Thunder Car drivers that they didn't want the Hoosier tire and they wanted to stay with the Towel City tire. Wes likes the Hoosier tire for reasons that are his own, and the Barrie drivers like the Towel City tire.

If the Simcoe County Shootout is being cancelled because of tire issues that would not be right.

Tires bite Wes in the back side in 2008 & 2009.

It should be all about the drivers and what they want to run and which tire cost less?

For the record I have never used the Hoosier tire, but a member of my team has and doesn't like them, apparently they go away after about 3 races. The Towel City tire has a much better longevity, way more than 3 races, the tire can be almost used up, and still works.

The Towel City tire is $95, the Hoosier I believe is at least $135.

Not one single driver, including probably the person who sent you that message, voted to have the Hoosier tire at Barrie.

The Hoosier tire isnt that bad we get 4 nights on the right side 5 nights on the left, but the towel city is a faster tire. I dont know how long they last, but I do know we spent $2000 in tires this year.
