Those decals are not meant to enhance the appearance of the cars,  they actually do serve a purpose!

what purpose do they serve if you cannot use the products they are endorsing or get any return for having them on your car ???

You don't get prize money, nor do you get to use the NASCAR name in your hunt for sponsorship?

I thought you just didn't get points or point money which in the case of the 4 cylinders is not much . Do you think any 4 cylinder driver at Barrie ever got a sponsor because they used the NASCAR name , i very much doubt it .

Those decals represent the companies that sponsor the track that YOU race on,  without those sponsors, I very much doubt that there would be a track that YOU could race on.  So, in a rather direct way, you do benefit from those decals.

Also many of those companies give vouchers to heat race winners, most laps led, rookie of the year, most cars passed (hard charger), pole winners (if there are time trials) that type of stuff.

Just run the decals, even the NASCAR cup guys have to run them.  I'm sure Rodger Penske is not too impressed that the #2 car has a "Bud pole" decal on it.
