Well in another topic I went through the list of drivers I think will be running LLM's at Barrie so I thought now should be a good time to do the same for the Thunder division. I think youll see 00- St.Onge 2 Tremblay 6 Aiken 9 Burrage 12 Belesky 21 Gignac 22 Shawn Murray 24 Johnston 25 Gribbon 27 Isherwood 38 Melson 42 Potts 44 Doucette 49 Davey 59 Craft 67 Smith 72 Monette 77 Brian Murray 82 Lidstone 84 Slavish 92 Dixon 97 Holden all should be running cars in some capacity. Thats 22 cars right there. Add #03 Ricky Walt as hes apparently returning from Sunset. Then theres Tex's buddy thats running the #3 Ken Dollander and that gets the field to 24 cars. Now I dont know if I'm leaving anyone out, but I did hear Steve Penny wanted to return to Thunders as well but that might be in 09. I think the Thunders have provided the best action on a season long basis in the 4 years I been regularily back at Barrie for sure!! And I think the record would show that as well as the Thunders have the most caution free features during that time. Sure hope these car counts are even close to accurate and we will be in for another stellar year from the Thunders in 08!!!
that is a mighty good looking group...names, not faces 😉 lol
there is also another holden running this year. Brad's son.
Nice car count that should be some good racing at Barrie. I should get up to see this in the 2008 season and if I don't I hope I can get someone to send us some photos we can post.
you now I got yah covered Evan!
I would think #22 Jason Elliot would be back, but I have no idea. The #10 Thunder car is returning this year with Rockin' Ray Shepherd driving, not sure how much though, Razor just wants to say he drove a race car at 65 yrs old. We are having trouble building a big enough cup holder for Ray's coffee cup & a place to put the cigarette lighter. Gord will fill in if Ray doesn't drive the whole year. And yes Brad Holden's son Kyle should have his car ready for the start of the year.
