Sunset you get into the pits at any age. If you're younger than 18, you have to have an adult sign a sheet saying they're liable(sp) for you.
The student prices (ages 12-17) are a good idea as they definately help with the cost since most students sometimes find it hard to find the money to go + pay for whatever else they're paying for, like saving up for university (if you're in high school) for the future.

out of curiosity what car do you drive?? I don't mean to be rude but you keep talking about YOUR car and I don't remember seeing you out once at Barrie, or sunset. perhaps I am wrong though. please enlighten me!
im startin in my car this year, and it doesnt really matter what car im driving as i want no one to know accept my team..
and i dont mean to be rude or anything but what car do you drive?
I agree - prices for 12-17 shouldnt be the same as for an adult.
but I also dont agree with kids being in the pits.
and I know not everyone will agree with me on that - but they are jsut that a liability.
there's a lot of stuff that goes on in the pits that kids shouldn't see and you never know when one of them is going to come flying out from around your car when ur backing up. There's a reason why you have to sign a waver.
but there's no real right or wrong answer to allowing kids to the pits.
but I do agree that for the general admittance side, they shouldn't have to pay nearly as much. thats one of the reason I like sauble, there's no kids running around the pits - where as at varney - there's kids everywhere.

i agree, kids shouldnt be in the pits, unless they are 14 or on a team.
if they are on a team and actually do something, then they should know
already what the drivers are like and should know they come flying off the track,
after a bad race, and should know that there are fights and other stuff that goes on,
and they should know not to run out behind cars when they are running.
just my point of veiw, because there are kids that are 12-14 that are on teams,
and they know how to act and they know how the drivers are.
last season there was some problems with kids in the pits with no adults around them...
and people just walking into the pits not caring and stuff...
just my thought.
