I have heard rumours that this may be making a return, are there any teeth to these? It was mentioned to me last night that they are havuing meetings now discussing this very issue. To me this would be huge for the whole Simcoe County racing scene....

;D iwould love to see come back but how would it work with the tree that were involved the first time having such different rules for 4cyl, pete dosent even run thunders. llm would be prety much the same though 8)
Jim I think you are reffering to the BPS Rumble Series, the Simcoe County Shootout was strictly between Sunset and Barrie
They ran with thunders and 4 cylinders, 2 races ta each speedway, on a points system, no purse just bragging rights and a huge trophy
Man I miss when we had the Shootout! I used to take the night off work (worked afternoons) just so i could go..lol. It would be great to see it back, no matter what the format.
After seeing such wonderful competition and sportsmanship during the thunder car invitational this year, it would be a welcome addition!!
