alot of the suggestions ,like running headers is a cost cutting measure and it also keeps the cars running cooler . also it extends the life of the engine. this is just one example that was shot down instantly.the whole problem started with this next gen crap, and when a crate engine was introduced it should have been phased in over one or two years to make it a crate class. then last year they made the mistake of killing their own crate program by letting next gens run builts.now everybody can run anything and the honest crate owners are getting boned. we are now challengers, we have evolved and you can't go backwards. thundercars don't have 9" rears, 8" rims and racing tires, load bolts, tin kits, holley carbs, fibreglass body parts etc. remember when."stock meant stock" this all started 3 years ago when they created two divisions in one. now they are trying to create parity.good luck! when it cost 30,000 dollars to build the first next gen car some bells should have started ringing.

I hear ya bikerbob. We pretty much had the same thing happen at DS with our street now super stocks. Is it evolution or letting the inmates run the asylum. LOL i like that one. A bit of both I would think.
