They gave us the impression they didn't want to listen.

I wasn't at the meeting, but it sounds like a Delaware meeting from the 90's. When Brian worked for Tony that was their attitude. If you dont like it go somewhere else they used to say. Some did, but most stayed and played by their rules. IMO a dictatorship is the only way to run a race track fairly. No favourites, these are the rules suck it up, run by them or run somewhere u can get away with the BS ( Im not saying the ideas were BS) but sometimes there is just to many hands in the cookie jar. Its hard to please everyone. I know first impressions are hard to get past but give him a chance in the long run I think he'll do a good job for you up there.

Brian started by saying that Barrie has a very good rules package for Thunders as it was. possibly thats why there not changing alot. The management says there not getting involved with tech, once the call is made by tech, thats final. Thats the way it should be.  I wouldn't want that job at any track, let alone Barrie.

i tend to agree with racer43,but a benevolent dictatorship. when racers start to control the rules it has been my experience that cost spiral up and car/fan counts spiral down, a no bs attitude from the race director is what is fairest as long as it is appllied to all.
