I think his comments to some guys during the thunder meeting sent a message hes not screwing around! Seems like he knows his stuff and its going to be enforced.
i think this new guy has some good ideas, but i think his disrespect for some of the drivers when they asked questions was arrogant and uncalled for. not a good way to start a new relationship. hopefully his attitude will change a little. i agree the thunders needed a little structure, but actually listening a bit instead of the"only my opinion counts attitude", won't help his quest. i'll bet he won't have a job if the track can't field a solid division. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but i know he ticked off alot of drivers.
guess i should have stayed for the thunder car meeting he was fine at both 4cyl meetings ???
Clearing up the grey area's is a good thing but I wasn't too impressed with the way they handled the meeting. They said they would take idea's from drivers and write them down to consider them later but didn't see any pens working away at it. And what I heard of the Thunder meeting it may be a very small field of cars next season. So far I haven't seen NASCAR as any benefit to the Pure Stock division and once again Thunders and Late Models win Carbs and body kits and we got squat didn't even have the draws that Brad stated there would be for car owners and drivers but as the owners said we are the grass roots but we get nothing. I'm not convinced things are going to be better and I have never heard the drivers so upset with the track as I have after this meeting. For those who run good luck but as of now can't see myself returning to Barrie. Oh and where was the full schedule that was reported on the web site to be available at these meetings??
one of the TOP drivers in the thunders got his pit and registration money back at the end of the meeting......SAD! i should change my CRO name to" not too impressed". if the owners are reading this, don't let one guy , who doesn't even know barrie speedway or it's drivers ruin the track.
