It boils down to one thing...drivers and crews want a good place to race, fans want to see drivers and crews put on a show!  It's what makes "go fast, turn left" exciting!

going back to a post on page 3 from Holland Landing as I haven't been able to read the posts for a couple days.... he said that the drivers that don't  wanna go to Sunset are really not going cause they'll have their doors blown off and that's the reason Sunset doesn't feel like home.

Well if you grew up at Barrie for well over 20 years it would feel like home no matter what. Also it's not because I'll get my doors blown off....it's $$$. I would need to put more money than I have into the car to be able to compete at the level that I think i should be able to run. If you send some cash my way to get our car up to Sunset's new Thundercar rules I would be glad to try Sunset out on occassion.

I think the Barrie Car's respect for sunset was evident last year. I was there and many others EVERY night we were able to be.  It was fun, less serious...more upbeat....

but in the end, we had to rebuild the entire car and were unable to find the scratch to put into the car to upgrade it....we were at the point where it was sunset LLM or Barrie Thunder cause it would have been almost the same amount of money to upgrade the car as it would have been to sell ti and buy a LLM....

Either way, Barrie is where I a, running and I am happy with it, but I will also not be racing 10 cars...if no one comes in the gate opening night we will have to re-evaluate our options.

We will be there opening weekend on the sunday night and we will see where we stack up.  Hopefully we don't get our doors blown off like some are suggesting.

I know that, you know that.  ;D But advanced marketing people don't know that. Ironic?
