They have that class now already Steve its called SuperStock/Thundercar.
When there is no tech it means spend whatever you want. Havent seen a tech man lay in the dirt with a white tshirt since Stan McNally at Sunset years ago.
And yes allow headers!
Dump the late model division, put headers on the thunderscar, and make that your new top class, becouse it already is the top class...........
............And late models cost to much in payouts, and bring little into the track.
i mean because, with an "a" and not "o" lol. I can thank Marty for that education ; 🙂
Kahnefreak, you got me to remember the no rules, run what you brung cars from the 80's. I guess it was the forerunner of OSCAAR. Hanley and all the Super Late Model guys would show up with INSANE lexan winged crazy offset Smyrna style cars with the long noses. They were NUTS. I think they just called them open late models. The normal Flamboro Super Lates of the day were crazy enough, but these things took it a notch higher.I don't know if it was even a proper touring series. I think the tracks would just kind of take turns holding "open" shows and the guys would show up. A lot of them just used their normal cars they would just put the big wings and wheels on them and soup up the motors. As a kid, I really enjoyed those races.
I think EVERY division should be allowed to run boards on their cars. For the very small amount it costs, they look awesome and the fans love them. They are even good to have to sell sponsorship on as well.
