I have spoken with a number of people at great length about bringing back a Street stock class, just the way it was in the early 90's etc. There has been great interest in the people I have talked to, and alot agree that there would be a full field opening night. I am talking back to basics Thunders.....Stock suspensions, no modifying, street tires, replacement shocks, No load bolts, no racing springs, full frame and body, stock engines, stock carbs etc. There is enough old Thunders around that are now obsolete, as well as a ton of guys who want to race, just are not interested in the least with a four banger, and also without the 30k to run a Thunder/Super Stock now.......
any thoughts?
sauble has them now....usually around 15 or so cars everynight...
ya I was talking to one of them at Pete.....they are running double bump heads, 480 cam, load bolts, Hoosier tires........and they are a mid pack car....
