Gear rule is good. 602 optional with weight penalty as sort of a inception period for the motor say for a year or two, with rev limiters. Then maybe 2-3 years down the road everybody will have been able to afford one by then and then it can be mandatory. If you make then mandatory or allow them with no weight penalty or rev limiter, all you are saying is if you wanna compete you have to spend the $$$. The idea is to keep costs down.
Not a fan of the 47% rear idea. we weren't 50% but why a disadvantage for having a newer car? If you drop the weight for the class, does that mean some of the older cars are overweight now? you want everybody to race right? we should leave that alone then.
Ride height is fine, leave that alone. Allowing the standard with a weight penalty is good.
Also have a rule if your too fast you get lead added. Say you have a 602 and your still too fast, well add another 50lbs if your dominating. Brings the class closer together and says to drivers " don't spend too much $$$ to go fast cause we'll slow you down" I think that one thing there would save money and would make sure the class doesn't get too far out of hand.
Also we need something for tech. If your caught blatantly cheating you lose all points in the season to that point in time. need to police the tech area so that the division doesn't get out of hand. That would make it real tough for people to spend $$$ going to far. the risk is not worth the penalty. Where now if you get caught oh well you lose for that night..not stiff enough in my opinion. What about cheap headers? block hugger style.

They should come up with a do whatever you want to your car division. No motor rules, no suspension rules. Just a weight rule. Then those guys with tons of cash and spend their cash and have fun doing it...lol
