Car counts at Barrie last year were low so personally I think Fridays would give other drivers opportunities to drive at Barrie on a night opposite to their track..Most tracks run Saturday yes and most of those tracks have higher car counts than Barrie so they can sustain better. Fridays would give Barrie an edge and opportunity for more cars since nothing in the area would be competing against them.

Barrie Speedwway needs to get rid of that stupid NASCAR LICENSE, many would like to race there but don't want to buy it, in my opinion it's "stupid".
As far as the FRIDAY nite racing "don't think it would work"!
We raced at Barrie in LM in the 80's, 90's, and this track will never be like that again and it's such a shame cause it's a great short track.

You're right. It won't be like it was in the 80's and 90's. Mostly because the track was reconfigured in 2004. Racing on Fridays won't help things. Everybody knows that Barrie drivers have historically been the only ones to travel. Back when Barrie had specials, barely anyone other than home track regulars would show.
They always say they don't want their cars to go home in a box.
Well whats the alternative??? Have further declining car counts keeping with"Tradition" or think outside the box and try something different?? The Owners are business people and they only look at the bottom line...Making money matters to them...They could just cut their losses and close it Then where would it be?
At least Fridays would give it a chance and put people in the seats... imo
