Your car wont go home in a box at Barrie, any other track yes. Barrie is small and confined, but it takes a real effort to destroy a car there. Go try Sunset, Flammy, Kawartha, or Peterborough...and bring your box lol!

It's a cycle. People will get tired of running at Sunset. Soon, politics will take over there (as it does at any other track).
Drivers will get tired of racing for nothing at the back of the pack and they'll switch. Most can't need that little bit of payout to make it to the next week.
I agree. Go without the Nascar licence and drivers will come back, but don't move to Fridays. Friday night shows haven't worked before and they won't work now.
So far, everyone who says they'll show up, don't have cars.
i'm the first one to call barrie out on their mistakes, but what is the big hoopla over a nascar license? its the same price, if not less than registering at another track!! you ARE spending the same money! no different than sunset making out of town cars register to run on a points night. also with the nascar license, if you get hurt or killed you are insured!!! do the other tracks insure you or your crew when you pay your registration? these are weird times and sunset is flourishing but barrie will survive and people will come back. not too long ago the roles were reversed. both are great facilities with great fans and drivers and i believe they will both survive.
Prince I agree about the licenses but you have to conceed that when Barrie was flourishing and Sunset wasnt Sunset changed it up and did unique events to try and get people through the door...I mean I remember they had a band play on a flat bed truck and drive around the track..and chain races..crazy eight races...demo derby in the infield...all with the intent of having people come? imo Barrie needs to DO something! Relying on just racing isnt enough right now.
Take the inside wall down in corner 3 and 4, make 1 and 2 the same as the other end then you might attract more cars, better racing, Just the opinion of somebody who watches races and compares other tracks. Barrie had such an awsome atmosphere when Brad Moran ran the show. Still plan to race there this year anyhow.
